Summer school
RECOGNITION OF SUMMER SCHOOLS
Students who are willing to attend a summer school program can request its recognition to acquire the CFUs associated with Introduction to research.
For the recognition of this kind of activities, it is necessary that the academic panel evaluates in advance, case by case, whether they are consistent with the educational objectives of Introduction to research.
To request the evaluation, students should send an email to didattica.dfa[at]unipd[dot]it with the following information:
- program of the summer school (list of activities to be carried out);
- detailed schedule of the activities (to quantify the total amount of time the student is required to devote to the summer school activities);
- period of summer school.
Students are then notified of the outcome of the evaluation.
To acquire the CFUs, students should sign up to take the Introduction to research exam and deliver a written report (at least 10 pages long) to the academic panel, according to the instructions provided for all Introduction to research students, along with proof of attendance of the summer school. The latter must include:
- the hours of attendance, divided by type of activity (lessons or practicals);
- the period of the summer school.
