Graduation Sessions
Please note:
- the date shown in the chart refers to the first session, in case there are many candidates additional sessions will take place in the following days
- the exact date and time will be communicated to the graduating student via e-mail after the thesis approval deadline
- the calendar will take into account the availability of the supervisors
- the presentation should last 15 minutes
The final examination mark expressed in 110ths, rounded to the nearest whole number (e.g. rounding down to the lowest whole number with a remainder of less than 0.5, rounding up to the next whole number if the remainder is equal to or greater than 0.5), is made up of the weighted average grades of the examinations to which a maximum increment of 8 points for the final examination is to be added (1 for a career in two years, from 0 to 4 by the thesis supervisor, from 0 to 2 by the co-examiner, from -1 to 1 by the committee).
The point for the career is awarded to all those who graduate by the end of the second academic year (currently 30 September).
Honours may only be awarded to students whose thesis has been awarded at least 6 of the points available to the supervisor, co-examiner and committee and, in addition, the final score is at least 114.
Honours must be explicitly requested by the thesis supervisor and must be unanimously approved by the graduation committee.
