International students
You are considered an “international student” if youhold a non-Italian academic diploma, degree or equivalent.

General entry requirements
If you apply for admission to the degree programmes of the University of Padua and you hold a qualification of a non-Italian education system, you should check whether the qualification (already obtained or about to be obtained) allows you to access the degree programme you would like to apply for. Specific entry requirements
In order to be admitted to the Master’s degree programme in Physics, together with the general entry requirements mentioned above, you have to present:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics or similar topics (min score: 85/110 or equivalent)
- General Physics min 12 ECTS in: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Waves, Modern Physics and at least 6 ECTS in Physics Laboratory
- Quantum Mechanics and Theoretical Physics: min 12 ECTS
- Maths: at least 24 ECTS
- English at B2 level (check the language requirements)
